Terms of Sales
Pricing
AM Studio’s online store pricing is shown in Canadian dollars for domestic and international orders. Pricing (including “Sale Pricing”) may be subject to change without notice.
Sale Pricing
If the product you have purchased goes on sale at a future date, we cannot extend the sale pricing to your past purchase.
Currencies
AM Studio cannot be held responsible for currency changes or currency exchange rates imposed by credit card carriers and/or financial institutions.
Payment
AM Studio accepts Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. The full payment is charged when the order is accepted.
Sales Tax & Duties
All prices displayed on our website and on written quotes are without taxes. All relevant taxes, including (but not limited to) state, provincial, federal, or harmonized taxes, will be shown as a separate line item on quotes or at checkout online.
For orders shipping outside of Canada, AM Studio will calculate customs or import duties based on the final destination. Any custom or import duty fees will be charged to the customer.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout and are calculated by product and location.
Any items returned because of incorrect address or refusal at the delivery address, are subject to an additional delivery charge. AM Studio will not be liable for any cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.
Lead Times
Lead times begin with receipt of order/payment. In-stock items will ship within 3-4 weeks unless otherwise notified. Custom lighting ships within 6-8 weeks and imported lighting from Bomma and Brokis ships within 10-14 weeks.
Due to the custom nature of our work, delivery dates are subject to availability from the manufacturer and the glass artists. AM Studio will try its best to meet delivery dates.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are only applicable within 48 hours of purchase as our lighting is made to order. After 48 hours, your order is processed and cannot be canceled. Payments are non-refundable.
Return Policy
AM Studio only accepts returns of defective products or items damaged during delivery. All returns are subject to AM Studio approval. Returned items must be in original packaging and original condition. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Delivery Goods
Upon delivery, the buyer must count the number of packages. If the number of packages does not match the delivery document, write “INCOMPLETE DELIVERY. [X] PACKAGES MISSING” on the delivery bill.
Items delivered damaged via common carrier must be signed for as “damaged” upon receipt, and both the carrier and AM Studio must be notified. This will expedite any claims to carriers and/or manufacturers made on your behalf. We cannot, however, be held responsible for damages of goods delivered by common carriers.
Warranty
AM Studio will cover and extend the manufacturer’s warranty for one extra year. Warranty does not apply to light bulbs or LEDs.
AM Studio is not responsible for the following:
- Any costs related to installation, re-installation, removal or repair.
- Damage caused by improper installation or assembly by the customer or a related third party.
- Damage caused by exposure to weather or improper environmental conditions.
- Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods.
- Any change in appearance or patina caused by natural wear.
- Costs relating to defective merchandise, including installation of the items.
Personal information
AM Studio uses the latest technology to encrypt all personal information which you submit through our site, including card numbers, address, and other information. We encrypt this information using SSL technology which allows it to be transmitted securely over the internet without anyone else having access to it.
We collect and use information about you in order to communicate with you about our products, services and promotions and to improve customer relations.
